https://bsod.pw is the first public yiimp-based SOLO pool.
What does it mean?
It means that if you have enough power to solve blocks by yourself, it will be much easier for you:
- Now you don’t have to worry about configuring and maintaining your own pool.
- No need to look for a private pool at a risk of running into scammers.
- You don’t have to mine on a pool and share reward with the others.
Now there is the first public YIIMP SOLO mining pool https://bsod.pw
Let’s move on to configuring your miners to mine solo on BSOD.PW:
Add parameter m=solo in password field (“-p m=solo”), so it would look like this:
-a algo -o stratum+tcp://eu.bsod.pw:PORT -u WALLET.rig -p m=solo
…and that’s it! — now you can mine solo on https://bsod.pw
If you find a block, you’ll get it whole!
Furthermore, we want to note that for solo mining not only your hashrate, nethash and network difficulty are important. TTF is calculated from it and this is what you should look at. You can find your TTF on your wallet page on https://bsod.pw. Please also note that TTF is just an estimation, for TTF of 2 hours doesn’t mean that you will find a block every 2 hours, it’s hugely depended on luck in the short run.
If you have TTF of more than 60 minutes, it will probably be more profitable to mine on a shared pool, unless you wish to test your luck.If you have insufficient capacity for mining, you can rent Nicehash.com or Miningrigrentals.com
